John has varied experience teaching private lessons and coaching brass sections and other musical groups in San Diego. He has instructed courses at Rancho Bernardo High School, Dana Middle School, Point Loma High School, Point Loma Nazarene University and San Diego State University. Mr. Reynolds has adjudicated numerous band festivals in San Diego County, from elementary to high school levels. John taught for several years in the San Dieguito Boys and Girls Club music program, instructing group lessons including brass, woodwinds and percussion. As an active part of the San Diego music community, John takes every chance he gets to help foster an encouraging learning environment.
